Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Find answers to common questions about AIROZEN air purification systems — filter costs, maintenance, installation, technical specifications, and more.

1. What is the cost of filter replacement for a AIROZEN unit?

Each VERTO machine is equipped with 48 sets of a 3-stage filtration system. The replacement cost for each filter set is approximately ₹1,500 – ₹2,000.

2. How often do the filters need to be replaced?

Filter replacement frequency depends on environmental conditions, pollution levels, and seasonal variations.

Summer Season (March to October):
Filters are generally replaced once every 2 months.

Winter Season:
Due to higher pollution levels and moisture content in the air, filters typically require replacement every 30 days.

3. Who replaces the filters?

For the first 12 months, AIROZEN provides complete support for all filter replacements and maintenance services.

For remote locations, if the buyer prefers to handle replacements independently, we provide:

  • Professional training

AIROZEN consumes approximately 2 kW of electricity during 8 hours of operation, making it energy-efficient for large-scale outdoor air purification.

6. What is the decibel level of a AIROZEN unit during operation?

The blower system inside AIROZEN operates at approximately 40 dB SPL. Considering ambient environmental sound levels in urban areas can already range between 60–70 dB SPL, the operational sound of AIROZEN remains relatively low and non-intrusive.

7. How effective is the AIROZEN unit in improving AQI levels?

AIROZEN demonstrates strong pollutant separation and particulate matter reduction performance.

Pollutant Separation Efficiency:
SO2 (Sulphur Dioxide): 16%
NO2 (Nitrogen Dioxide): 58%
O3 (Ozone): 28%
NH3 (Ammonia): 23%

Particulate Matter Reduction:
Average efficiency of approximately 67% for PM2.5 and PM10 pollutants.

This highlights AIROZEN effectiveness in reducing harmful airborne particulate matter, one of the major contributors to urban air pollution.

8. What is the maximum coverage range of a AIROZEN unit?

Each AIROZEN unit is capable of purifying up to: 664,416 cubic meters of ambient air within 24 hours. This is equivalent to the volume of air above: A runway approximately 3 km long, 45 meters wide, 1.5 meters high.

Effective Radius Coverage:
Approximately 20–30 meters radius, depending on environmental conditions and airflow dynamics.

  • Upcoming installation at Godrej Housing Projects
10. What happens when a AIROZEN unit operates during rainfall?

AIROZEN is equipped with an intelligent rain sensor system. The machine automatically shuts down when rainfall is detected. Its specialized exterior design also prevents rainwater from entering the internal system components.

11. Is there an AQI meter installed in the AIROZEN unit?

Yes. AIROZEN can be equipped with an AQI monitoring meter to measure and display purification performance and air quality conversion data.

Note: AQI monitoring is available at an additional cost.

12. Can AIROZEN data be recorded and monitored?

Yes. AIROZEN systems are capable of recording and storing operational and AQI-related data for up to 60 days.

13. What type of fan/blower is used in a AIROZEN unit?

AIROZEN uses specially designed EC Smart Centrifugal Blowers, optimized specifically for the AIROZEN air purification system.

14. Does the AIROZEN blower require replacement?

Under normal operating conditions, the blower does not require replacement unless there is a technical fault or damage.

15. What is the airflow capacity of the AIROZEN blower?

The blower system in AIROZEN operates with an airflow rate of approximately: 3967.54 cubic meters per hour (m3/hr)

16. Can the AIROZEN blower suck in large particles, leaves, birds, or small animals?

No. AIROZEN is designed with a protective louver-based intake system that prevents large particles such as:

  • Leaves
  • Stones
  • Cotton waste
  • Birds or small animals

from entering the internal filtration system.

17. What are the technical details of the AIROZEN filtration system?

AIROZEN utilizes an advanced 3-stage air purification system integrated with UVC filtration technology for enhanced air disinfection and pollutant control.

18. Are the AIROZEN filters waterproof?

AIROZEN filters are partially waterproof and are designed with a multi-layer protection system.

The filtration system includes:

  • Dual pre-filter technology
  • A specially designed layer that helps prevent water ingress into the filtration chamber

Additionally, the machine's external louver and mesh protection system significantly reduces the possibility of rainwater entering the unit during operation.

19. How heavy is a single AIROZEN structure?

The approximate overall weight of a single AIROZEN tower is: Around 600 kg including the FRP outer skin. Individual machine modules can weigh up to 300 kg. The structure is designed to ensure both portability and high operational stability.

20. Has AIROZEN been tested for stability against strong winds or storm conditions?
